CES Missionary Opportunities

This page is intended to provide prospective missionary couples with information about CES missionary service opportunities.

Candidates for full-time missionary service should be willing to serve wherever and in whatever capacity they are called.
Specific full-time assignments may be discussed with, and recommended by the Bishop and/or Stake President, but cannot be
promised. Missionaries serving in the United States or Canada can serve 12, 18, or 23 months, but service outside of
these areas would be for 18 or 23 months. Please note: missionaries will not be assigned to a mission that costs more
than thay can afford, that does not have needed medical services, or that has dangerous conditions.

	•Reside at the Student Center (LDS Housing) two bedroom, furnished apartment for $500/month; includes wireless internet and utilities except phone and cable TV. •Office space is available in the Institute building located in front of the Student Center or you can use the second bedroom in your apartment as an office. •Assignment covers the East Lansing University Ward •Help supervise and foster positive relations with the residents, institute students and ward members. •Attend University Ward meetings and activities. •Conduct Sunday Hall Devotionals and quarterly Firesides. •Attend Student Center staff meetings twice a month and assist Housing Director as needed. •Attend district and zone meetings. •Promote the Institute and Student Center throughout the Lansing Stake; speaking assignments.
